In early June, the creators of Subnautica 2 announced the release of the third hotfix, which aims to fix some issues. It doesn't add new content, but it brings modern NVIDIA technology to the game.

Unknown Worlds Entertainment fixed several critical bugs that could lead to game crashes or problems saving progress when using DLSS. The update also adds support for NVIDIA DLSS 4.5.

In addition, the authors of Subnautica 2 made balance adjustments to marine life, for example, increasing the interval between attacks and adjusting the detection radius.

The full description of the "Hotfix 3" update for Subnautica 2 is available at the following link.

The developers continue to work on major updates that will add new content to the game:

We plan to release regular updates for Subnautica 2, but not all of them will be the same! These will include improvements to systems and mechanics, as well as urgent fixes and large-scale updates. While the next major update with new biomes, creatures, resources, tools, vehicles, and a continuation of the story is being prepared, we will also release intermediate improvements.
