Many fans hoped to see Wolverine and Spider-Man meet in an Insomniac Games title. However, the studio confirmed that Peter Parker will not appear in Marvel's Wolverine.

The developers answered fan questions about a possible crossover between Spider-Man and Logan. Insomniac stated that, although both series exist in the same Marvel universe, Marvel's Wolverine will be a standalone story, entirely focused on the famous mutant.

For some players, this came as a surprise. Since the game's announcement in 2021, there have been regular speculations that the studio would use the shared universe for the first major crossover of its superheroes.

Insomniac previously confirmed that the events of Marvel's Wolverine take place in the same world as the Spider-Man series games. It seems that the developers now want to focus on developing their own part of the mutant universe, rather than on large-scale crossovers.

However, the possibility of a future crossover is not ruled out.
