Mechanics VoiceOver announced the start of a fundraising campaign to create full Russian voice acting for 007 First Light – a new action game dedicated to the early years of James Bond's career. To implement the project, the team needs to raise 2.7 million rubles.
According to studio representatives, after a detailed study of the game's structure and an assessment of the content volume, it became clear that the upcoming work would be the most ambitious in the history of Mechanics VoiceOver.
In recent days, we have carefully studied the game's structure, analyzed the scope of work, and calculated the amount of content. And now we can confidently say: none of our projects has ever been so large.
The studio noted that this approach will allow production to begin now, without waiting for the full completion of fundraising. As support comes in, the scale of Russian localization will gradually expand.
The project authors emphasized that they tried to set the most achievable financial goal, but the volume of work remains extremely large.
