Bandai Namco and its studio Bandai Namco Aces have released a new 10-minute walkthrough trailer for the aerial action game Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve. The video for the first time demonstrates in detail the gameplay and key mechanics of the upcoming project.
The gameplay will once again focus on aerial battles with complete freedom of maneuvers in three-dimensional space. The developers promise a dynamic combat system based on free piloting, weather effects, and spectacular aerial duels. Players will have to complete combat missions, keep targets in sight, and simultaneously dodge enemy missiles using various defensive maneuvers, including high-speed turns with high G-forces.
Wingmen will play an important role in battles. The player will be able to give tactical orders to allies in real time, directing them to attack or ordering them to cover certain directions.
Preparation for sorties will be an equally significant part of the game. Ace Combat 8 will feature a wide selection of both real-world aircraft and original models.
