Gothic 1 Remake released after 25 years - first player reviews and complaints emerge
The first "Gothic" returns in an updated format.
Alkimia Interactive and THQ Nordic announced the release of Gothic 1 Remake on PC via Steam, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. A special trailer for the project was presented to mark the remake's launch.
Players can expect a classic adventure in a new format — developers have improved mechanics and expanded the game world:

The first player reviews have started appearing on Steam: some praise the project, while others note technical issues. For example, there are complaints about optimization, and users sometimes experience problems launching the remake.
