ARC Raiders is rapidly losing audience - online numbers have plummeted
ARC Raiders, which just a few months ago was considered one of the biggest successes in the extraction shooter genre, continues to lose its audience. According to SteamDB, Embark Studios' project has been shrinking for five consecutive months.
The project's peak popularity occurred at the end of 2025. In November, ARC Raiders gathered almost 482 thousand concurrent players. In January 2026, the figure remained high, reaching 466 thousand users.
After that, a gradual decline began. In February, the maximum online count was 375 thousand players, in March — 252 thousand, in April — 154 thousand, and in May — 122 thousand. June started with a figure of about 110 thousand players.
The current situation looks even more alarming. At the time of publication of the statistics, 31 thousand users were simultaneously in the game. For most projects, this is a good result, but for a game that recently attracted almost half a million people, this is a significant drop.
Players attribute the problem not to one specific developer decision, but to accumulated shortcomings. The Shrouded Sky and Riven Tides updates are most often criticized. The community expected more new content and significant changes, but many found the updates too cautious and not interesting enough for regular returns to the game.
