A Surprise from The Game Kitchen: Blasphemous 2 Receives Free DLC with New Location, Mechanics, and Boss
The Third Sin DLC is now available on PC and consoles, with the exception of PlayStation 4.
The Game Kitchen studio has given a gift to Blasphemous 2 fans. During the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, the developers announced and immediately released a massive content update, The Third Sin. Unlike last year's paid DLC Mea Culpa, this update is absolutely free for all owners of the original game.
The DLC's story transports the Penitent One to a remote and isolated castle in the lands of Custodia, untouched by mortals for centuries. The Miracle destroyed all life here, sparing only the mysterious Duchess. A wandering nobleman, who fell in love with her, guarded her until his last breath, but after the woman's demise, he found himself forever bound to her coffin by spectral nails. Now, this posthumous abode will become a new area to explore — and its size is approximately a quarter of the original game's size.

In the DLC, players will find four sacred quests, new enemies, and a unique boss. The game also features a new weapon — a whip with a blade at the end, three familiars, six additional prayers, unlockable costumes, a "Boss Gallery" mode, six new musical compositions, and five achievements.
The Third Sin DLC is now available for download on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The PlayStation 4 version will be delayed and released a little later.
