"It Takes Two with Cars" to be Released in September. WheelMates Gets Friends Pass and Release Date

At Future Games Show 2026, the cooperative adventure WheelMates, compared to It Takes Two, was presented.

The game will offer a Friends Pass: only one purchased copy is needed for a second player to join for free.

The plot of WheelMates tells the story of the mysterious disappearance of an eccentric professor. Responding to his call for help, players take control of two remote-controlled cars and set off to explore a dangerous laboratory hidden inside the scientist's house.

Ordinary interior items here turn into huge locations. Cluttered tables, high shelves, and room corners become platforms for exploration, drifting, and searching for traces of strange experiments.

The core of the game is the close interaction of two participants. Passing requires coordination, precise timing, and constant communication. Players will face joint puzzles and obstacles that cannot be overcome alone.

As they progress, the cars will receive new devices: cables to cross chasms, magnetic wheels for driving on vertical surfaces, and special grippers. New abilities will unlock access to previously inaccessible areas and secret rooms.

WheelMates will be released in September on Steam.
