The project from Arkane Lyon was supposed to be released in 2027.

According to well-known journalist and insider Jeff Grubb, Marvel's Blade, which Arkane Lyon was working on, has been canceled.

The game was officially unveiled at The Game Awards in 2023. At that time, only a cinematic trailer was shown, and it was announced that development was just beginning.

For two and a half years, players have not been shown any gameplay or a full-fledged trailer, which led many to think about the project's cancellation. These assumptions are supported by the difficult situation at Arkane itself, where layoffs occurred after Redfall's failure.
