Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio unveiled a new seven-minute gameplay trailer for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy — an action-adventure game set in the A Plague Tale universe.

The game's events take place 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem. The protagonist is Sophia, a young and fearless adventurer who tries to uncover the mysteries of her past.

The developers promise an original story combining dynamic battles, mythological motifs, and the theme of destiny, as well as a new perspective on the familiar universe.

Sophia's journey leads her to the mysterious Minotaur Island. Here, the heroine must overcome deadly challenges, explore intricate routes, solve puzzles, and fight the army pursuing her. However, the main threat lies deep within the island: a legendary creature behind an ancient myth turns out to be closely linked to Sophia's own destiny.

The game will be released on August 27 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
