Gamers will be left with RTX 50 for a few more years - insider

There is still no information in the industry about the next generation of NVIDIA graphics cards. According to insiders, the RTX 60 series will not appear anytime soon, and the current generation will remain relevant for several years.

The leaker Moore's Law Is Dead claims that the first RTX 60 graphics cards will not be released until 2028. According to him, NVIDIA is currently focused on maximizing profits from the AI and data center market. The company allegedly plans to primarily supply new chips, manufactured using the 3nm process, to large artificial intelligence clients.

As for immediate plans, RTX 50 Super series models are likely to enter the market in 2027. The Chinese publication Benchlife reports that they may be showcased at CES 2027.

According to rumors, RTX 5060 Super with 12 GB of video memory and RTX 5070 Super with 18 GB may appear in the second half of 2027. RTX 5070 Ti Super and RTX 5080 Super allegedly will receive 24 GB of VRAM each. This information has not yet been officially confirmed.

High prices for RAM and NAND Flash may also affect the release dates of the new generation of consoles. According to the latest rumors, Sony is considering postponing the release of PS6 to 2029.
