RTX 50 faces a new wave of price increases: manufacturers start changing price tags

ZOTAC has increased prices for GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards. According to supply chain sources, the reason is the rising cost of memory, and other NVIDIA partners may follow suit.

According to ChannelGate, the new prices came into effect in June. For now, the changes affect the Chinese market, but the situation could impact the cost of graphics cards in other countries as well.

The GeForce RTX 5090D V2 saw the biggest price increase, rising by 2000 yuan (about $295). For the RTX 5080, the increase was 100 yuan only for the base versions, while other models retained their previous prices.

The entire RTX 5070 lineup, including the RTX 5070 Ti, increased by approximately 100 yuan (about $15). The RTX 5060 Ti 8GB and RTX 5060 saw an increase of 50 yuan ($7).

The RTX 5050 has not yet been affected by the changes, but analysts do not rule out price increases for this model if the cost of video memory continues to rise.

Earlier, Lenovo raised prices for its products. If the trend continues, other manufacturers may also revise device costs, which would further impact the graphics card market, where sales are already declining.
