EA Sports FC 27 developers addressed fans in Russian - revealed PC version features and system requirements
This installment of the football franchise is expected to support the Steam friends list, launch faster, and offer improved keyboard controls.
The developers of the football simulator EA Sports FC 27 presented a new diary dedicated to the PC version of the game. This release included a translation into Russian.
The authors reported that they worked on optimization, improved keyboard controls, prepared various options for graphic settings, and more:
In EA Sports FC 27, we paid special attention to optimizing the game on PC, including reducing launch times, modernizing keyboard controls, expanding graphic settings, and providing you with improved tools to customize performance for your hardware. With these improvements, you will spend less time on settings, get full control over the game, and easily adapt FC 27 to your PC.
The developers said that they studied feedback on FC 26, so for EA Sports FC 27, they updated the launch process on Steam, "significantly reducing the number of intermediate windows and loading stages on the screen," and optimized it to speed up game launch. Internal tests showed a speed increase of up to 50% on some configurations.
Steam friends list support will be available — it will be automatically imported via EA Connect.
A VRAM indicator (video memory consumption) will appear in the graphics settings menu:
Keyboard players will be able to choose between "WASD" or "arrow keys" layouts.
Tables with system requirements for EA Sports FC 27 for different game scenarios were also published — the game will run on PCs with a GTX 1050 Ti level video card. It will be possible to play at 720p resolution with low settings and 60 FPS in gameplay (cutscenes at 30 FPS).

The regular release of the game is scheduled for September 25, but buyers of the premium edition are promised "extended access up to 7 days." The game will be available not only on PC but also on PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles.
