Two years after the release of Dragon's Dogma 2, Capcom has released a major update for its role-playing game. The patch is the first part of a planned series of updates: the second part will appear at the end of August, shortly before the release of the Dark Arisen expansion, which is scheduled for October.
The main change in the June update was the overhaul of the fast travel system. Previously, players had to use oxcarts or a limited number of special fast travel stones, but now the developers have significantly simplified this process.
After speaking with Brant in one of the story quests, players will receive an Eternal Ferrystone — a special item for infinite use. In addition, fast travel can now be activated directly from the map by hovering the cursor over an available destination. The developers have also increased the number of Portcrystals in the game world.
