In June, MachineGames returned to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and released an update for PC and consoles. This time it's a small patch, "Update 8 – Hotfix 1".
The developers fixed two common critical errors that caused game crashes on the Nintendo Switch 2 console, and also improved the overall stability of the game.
The PC version of the game received fixes for the implementation of Frame Generation. Problems that could cause stuttering when using Multi FG, noise when using Ray Reconstruction, or visual artifacts when running in an aspect ratio other than the standard 16:9 Widescreen mode were eliminated.
On all platforms, MachineGames fixed the ragdoll system to prevent enemies from "spinning" when trying to pick them up, and there are no animation bugs when picking them up from the ground. In addition, a "small stuttering on first level load" was fixed.
"Update 8 – Hotfix 1" does not add new content to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle; it is purely a technical patch. Last month, a full update was released for the game – with a new outfit for the main character in the style of the movie "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom".
