The developers of 7 Days to Die have announced a massive update, Dead Hot Summer, which will expand players' options for customizing the Sandbox, offer several official difficulty presets (e.g., in the style of 2014), and many other improvements.

Players will be able to choose from 150+ options and gameplay modifiers. For example, they can adjust zombie characteristics, their spawn frequency, and make them small (or with large heads). There will also be an opportunity to experiment with gravity, change in-game economy parameters, and more.

Additionally, with version 3.0, 7 Days to Die will introduce a redesigned main menu, over 60 new points of interest, and crosshair settings. Found tools or weapons may have improved characteristics with some chance. Players will be able to get, for example, a shotgun with increased range or a machete with increased damage.

The Experimental version of update 3.0 is scheduled for release on June 15, and the full update for PC and console versions of 7 Days to Die is planned for June 29. A full description of 3.0 Dead Hot Summer is available at the following link.
