In June, gamers remembered Star Wars Outlaws again. The reason was an insider tip from a user named FivesWalker, who specializes in Star Wars topics.
According to his information, Ubisoft expected Star Wars Outlaws to be "MUCH more successful" than it turned out to be. He said that six expansions were planned, one of which was supposed to be directly related to the novel "Star Wars Outlaws: Low Red Moon."
FivesWalker also noted that a sequel was planned for the game, but it was canceled (rumors about the abandonment of the sequel's development circulated last year).
In the end, two full-fledged expansions were released for Star Wars Outlaws. In Wild Card, the main character Kay has to enter a high-stakes sabacc tournament. There, she accidentally meets the famous card player Lando Calrissian and learns that a completely different game is afoot.
In the Star Wars Outlaws DLC, Kay met the experienced pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who had heard of her successes and wanted her help to settle scores with a gang of thugs.
Overall reviews for Star Wars Outlaws on Steam are "mostly positive."
