In June, Marvel Entertainment's YouTube channel released a teaser for the second season of the animated series "X-Men '97".
The focus was on key heroes – including both familiar characters and new faces: Professor X, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Forge, Beast, Nightcrawler, Morph, Bishop, Rogue, Wolverine, Storm, Jubilee, Sunspot, Archangel, Psylocke, Magneto, and more.
At the end of the trailer, the antagonist of the second season, Apocalypse, can be seen.
The premiere of the continuation of the animated series "X-Men '97" is scheduled for July 1st on Disney Plus.
The first season of "X-Men '97" was very successful. The animated series eventually became one of Disney Plus's most-watched animated projects and was also nominated for an Emmy. On Rotten Tomatoes, it has a 99% rating from critics and an average audience rating of 91%.
Previously, an inter-season update was introduced for the hero online shooter Marvel Rivals. Developers added a playable Cyclops from "X-Men" and launched a new in-game event.
