The actress immersed herself in the role and got a little carried away while performing Lara Croft's movements.

Alix Wilton Regan, who plays Lara Croft in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, recently spoke about an incident in an interview. The actress was injured during the production of an action scene.

Speaking to GamesRadar+, Alix shared that the biggest challenge in her work on this project was that she "had to hold back at times" because she "threw herself headfirst" into every scene.

According to her, one day she was so actively performing her character's movements that she accidentally hit herself in the face. As a result, Alix dislocated her jaw:

That's me – I don't know how to do anything half-heartedly. When I was about to strike, right at the moment I was doing a hook, I literally hit myself in the jaw, dislocated it… Anyway, it's fine. It's happened to me before, but everyone on Zoom was like, "F***, no, we killed Lara."

The incident stopped Alix only briefly – she quickly reset her jaw herself. The actress said she only remembered this incident because a "big, big boss" found out about what happened on set and recently asked her about it.
