Recently, Funselektor Labs Inc. and Strelka Games released a demo version of over the hill on Steam. This game is reminiscent of Saber Interactive's projects — SnowRunner and Expeditions: A MudRunner Game.
In over the hill, players are invited to go on a journey by car:
Choose one of three classic SUVs, take useful gear with you, discover hidden attractions, photograph wild animals, and conquer challenging test routes that will test your driving skills.
In the presented demo, players will be able to unlock several vehicle models, take pictures of animals and replenish the “compendium”, explore “Emerald Lake”, the initial zone of the Valhallas region, alone or with friends.
You can add over the hill to your Steam wishlist by following this link. The release is scheduled for 2026, the exact release date has not yet been announced.
The demo has a separate page and reviews for the demo are “very positive”, with an 80% rating. Peak online last weekend exceeded 4 thousand players.
