In mid-June, City Car Driving 2.0 was released on PC via Steam. The new title launched in "early access" format, and the developers published a short message to the community:
Dear car enthusiasts, we have entered early access! Thank you for walking this long path with us. Thank you for your boundless support and patience. We will collect all feedback and continue to refine the game with you.
Players in City Car Driving 2.0 are invited to explore a region where "every sign, traffic light, and road marking complies with current traffic rules."
The City Car Driving 2.0 page on Steam is available at the following link. The developers expect the project to spend 1 to 2 years in "early access." They stated that the current version provides "about 6–8 hours of continuous gameplay":
At this stage, the game already features strict traffic rules, a basic economy and trading system, and several different vehicles are available to players. This is a solid foundation on which we will build the further development of the project.
