Genshin Impact Turned into a Shooter - miHoYo Showed Gameplay from Snezhnaya in Update 7.0

The Traveler will be able to shoot enemies from cover.

The creators of Genshin Impact held a presentation for update 6.7 (or "Moon VIII: Summer! Return? Fontinalia"). miHoYo (HoYoverse) prepared a new set of promo codes for in-game gifts, and also presented new teasers.

Among other things, gameplay from Snezhnaya from the upcoming update 7.0 was demonstrated. This region will feature interesting architecture with characteristic domes, large trains, rabbit mobs with blades and small axes, as well as an addition to the Traveler's arsenal – firearms.

Closer to the end of the teaser, Aether gets a weapon, and the gameplay begins to resemble a third-person shooter with cover:
