Rockstar Games recently unveiled a new Grand Theft Auto VI teaser and announced the upcoming opening of pre-orders. The developers also published the game's cover, which has already drawn criticism from some gamers.

An observant user named ITehJelleh noticed the alligator's mouth:

I thought something was off with the number of teeth on the alligator on the cover, so I recounted – and it turned out to have only 60 teeth. However, alligators usually have between 74 and 80 teeth, so this one has significantly fewer than normal. Is this a mistake, or could it have some significance?

The most popular comment quickly became a humorous remark from LickFootToes: "Unplayable. This means it will be another Cyberpunk-level quality release."

While some were "disappointed in Rockstar" after such a "mistake," user PAOKARA26 offered another explanation that resolves the claim about the number of teeth:

It's not an alligator, it's a crocodile, and they actually have 60–64 teeth, so you can relax.

The console version of Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release in November of this year, while the developers have not yet announced the PC version's release date.
