Valve's service continues to delight customers. The company is ready to help in unusual situations.

Valve is known for its high level of customer focus and recently once again proved that it is ready to help them in the most unusual situations. Recently, a story went viral in the Steam Deck community about how one user lost their case because of a child – the child fell ill and vomited.

AHappyGummyWormx published correspondence with Valve support:

Hello! I wanted to know if it's possible to buy a new case for the Steam Deck? Unfortunately, my newborn child [soiled it], and now it's, alas, ruined. I really like this case, so I'd prefer to continue using the original one if possible.

A Valve representative soon replied that they had placed an order to send a replacement Steam Deck OLED case. AHappyGummyWormx did not have to pay extra – the replacement was provided free of charge.

AHappyGummyWormx said that after this, "Valve gained a lifelong customer." Other community members also praised the company for such customer focus.

Earlier this year, Valve announced an increase in the price of the Steam Deck. The company's pricing policy was influenced by the current situation in the market for device components.
