Saber introduced anime skins and modifiers for Horde Mode in World War Z - Limitless Strain update released
New modifiers are now available to players in Horde Mode, which can complicate the run.
In June, Saber Interactive studio introduced the Limitless Strain update for the cooperative shooter World War Z.
The developers added weapon perks, daily challenges, and several modifiers for Horde Mode. For example, “headshot-only zombie kills,” disabling traps, or overheating stationary weapons.
In addition, the game received Xbox Play Anywhere support: those who purchased the digital version of the game in the Microsoft Store can play it on both PC and Xbox consoles; cross-saves are supported.
Two premium add-ons with skins were also released for World War Z. Chibi Bunko Skin Pack includes a set of five weapon color schemes “in the spirit of punk and anime, with catchy accents and hand-drawn details” — for the TMP5 SMG, HAMR-17 assault rifle, 1911 Protector pistol, RPG-4, and ACW-20.
The Chibi Daniela Skin Pack also includes five weapon color schemes with chibi versions of Daniela, made “in a cheerful and bold anime style with blue and gold elements” — for the Mini-21 universal rifle, Dunali SxS and BSS-2 shotguns, as well as the LAR assault rifle and SchreiTech “Forest Warrior” chainsaw.
