An updated mod-remaster of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II with refined gameplay mechanics has been released

In June, developers from the Ultimate Exterminatus Mod Developer Team presented an update for their modification to Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II. They are implementing various improvements into the strategy game.

The modders completely rebalanced all skill trees — "they have become more diverse and interesting."

Commander accessories have also been reworked: they will now occupy regular accessory slots, and the special slot will be taken by new Support beacons items — with their help, players will be able to call in an additional squad during a mission.

Players will also be able to perform an "all-squad drop" — all unlocked squads will be sent on missions, meaning no one will have to be left at the base anymore.

Medkits and strategic abilities (like calling in a turret) have become "global abilities" — there's no longer a need to use an accessory slot and charges. According to the modders' vision, this will improve their ease of use.

In addition, the modders added new items to the game, implemented various fixes, and "reworked the geometry" of maps (making them more open, improving defensive capabilities at strategic points, etc.).
