Against the backdrop of upcoming releases like God of War Laufey, Marvel’s Wolverine, and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, the company stated in its financial report:
Regarding Sony's own game software, the company aims to create a stable revenue base through regular annual releases of single-player games, which have traditionally been its core strength, while simultaneously building a portfolio of live-service games.
At one point, the company became enthusiastic about actively promoting live-service games, and it seems to be betting on major single-player hits once again.
The goal is at least one major single-player release per year. Multiplayer games are not excluded; for example, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will be released in August in collaboration with Arc System Works.
It seems that within the company, they are looking for a balance to restore a stable release rhythm.
