GTA VI will bring Rockstar and Take-Two $1 billion within an hour of pre-orders opening, according to Tom Henderson

People continue to believe that Rockstar's new project will earn all the money on the planet, even though they haven't even seen a single frame of gameplay yet.

Expectations continue to grow around GTA VI, and now analysts are predicting record financial performance for the game even before its release. According to industry experts, the start of pre-orders alone could bring Rockstar Games over a billion dollars in just one hour.

Pre-orders for the action game will open on June 25 for PlayStation and Xbox. Amidst the colossal interest in the project, renowned insider and journalist Tom Henderson stated that the game is capable of setting an unprecedented record for earning speed.

During a recent episode of the Insider Gaming Weekly podcast, Henderson noted that GTA VI could sell between 12 and 14 million copies within the first hour of pre-orders launching. According to him, these figures significantly exceed the total sales of many major AAA games throughout their existence.

High expectations are also confirmed by previous analyst forecasts. Earlier, experts noted that to meet the level of expectations, GTA VI must sell more than 46 million copies within the first 24 hours after release. Despite the impressive figure, many consider it quite achievable for Rockstar's new project.
