Ciaphas Cain miniature and four battleforces for Warhammer 40,000 are preparing for pre-order

It's time to find out what fans of the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game and beyond will be able to pre-order starting June 27, 2026. You'll be able to acquire miniatures of Commissar Ciaphas Cain and Ferik Jurgen — a first-class artilleryman and a "blank." The duo can be assembled on separate bases or as a mini-diorama.

Four previously announced battleforces will arrive. The "Astra Militarum Platoon" set contains a Commissar, a Cadian Command Squad, 10 Cadian Shock Troopers, two field artillery batteries, a Basilisk artillery piece, a Rogal Dorn battle tank, and five transfer sheets.

The "Tyranid Swarm" set includes a Lictor and three Von Ryan's Leapers, 10 Hormagaunts, 10 Termagants, three Elite Warriors, and a Hive Tyrant, which can be assembled as a Swarmlord or a Winged Hive Tyrant.

Inside the "Chaos Space Marines Warband" set, you can find a Lord Discordant, two Obliterators, a Venomcrawler Daemon Engine, 20 Chaos Cultists, and 10 Legionaries. The "Necron Host" set features a Command Barge, a Canoptek Doomstalker, three Ophydian Destroyers, five Flayed Ones, 20 Necron Warriors, and six Scarab Swarms.

Separately, you will be able to purchase the "Centaur" — a rapid response vehicle for infantry transport, as well as the "Hippogriff" armored fighting vehicle. For fans of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy tabletop game, the "Battle Group Maximus" box has been prepared.

It contains 20 Tactical Marines in Mk.IV "Maximus" power armor, 10 Mk.IV Assault Marines with the option to assemble with chainswords or power lances, a Sicaran battle tank, a Contemptor Dreadnought, two transfer sheets for infantry, and two for vehicles. You'll be able to buy the "Whirlwind" — a lightly armored tank equipped with multiple rocket launchers.

You'll also be able to get your hands on the Zone Mortalis Tactical Journal. With it, you can bring battles into the confined spaces of tunnels, space stations, and claustrophobic hive cities. This volume updates the rules for intense 1500-point close-quarters combat, offering many new missions.

From books: the illustrated and annotated edition of "For the Emperor!" by Sandy Mitchell, "Sabbat Worlds: The Crusade" (or "The Sabbat Crusade") by Dan Abnett in hardcover, a special edition of "Rynn's World" by Steve Parker (bound in blue cloth with red and gold foil details, featuring colored edges and a red ribbon bookmark, and including a new introduction from Black Library).

In paperback, "Blood of the Kraken" by Mark Collins, "Rogue Squadrons" by Robbie MacNiven, and "The Fall of Star Progenitor" by Adrian Tchaikovsky will be released. Plus, you'll be able to get a Valhallan Ice Warriors cotton banner. The aforementioned items will reach store shelves on July 11, 2026.
