Nicolas Cage to Appear in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone as an Operator

The mid-season update will be available on June 25.

The middle of Call of Duty's fourth season will bring a major Summer of Action update. On June 25, a mid-season update will launch in Black Ops 7 and Warzone, with Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage, known for films like "National Treasure," "Con Air," "Gone in 60 Seconds," and the new series "Spider-Noir," as its main face. The character will be part of a special in-game event, the Nick Cage Event.

The event will operate on the familiar scheme with free and premium reward tracks, as was previously the case with collaborations dedicated to Robocop and other heroes. Players will be able to obtain themed cosmetic items in both progression branches, but the operator Nicolas Cage himself will only be available to owners of the paid event pass. Typically, such passes cost around $10.

In addition to the new star, the update will add two types of weapons to the game. Players will be able to unlock the Executioner’s Duet dual melee weapons for free, as well as the legendary AN-94 assault rifle, well-known to fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

The mid-season update will offer new limited-time events, the Kowakujo map for zombie mode, and will make Black Ops Classic a permanent part of Black Ops 7.
