Path of Exile 2 developers have released an overview trailer for a feature that will help players with build customization. With update 0.5.0, Grinding Gear Games added a system where players could prepare build guides, showing exactly which passive skills to choose and which skills to use.

PoE 2 Game Director Jonathan Rogers said that this system has been very successful and players have created a huge number of guides. However, using the planner required downloading files and placing them on the player's computer, and the developers always wanted to offer the community a simpler way.

Now, the creators of Path of Exile 2 have given build guide authors the ability to add a "subscribe" link directly to their websites. Players who click on these links will be able to easily get the build – no downloads required.

Jonathan Rogers explained how this system works and noted that it is also available on consoles:

Just click on [the guide author's link], confirm on our website, and the build will automatically appear directly in your client. This way, console players can also use guides. This also means that build authors can update and improve their guides, and you will automatically receive any updates when you log in to the game.

Recently, Path of Exile 2 developers introduced an update that brings "a wide range of improvements" to high-level mechanics, universally increases rewards from investments, improves scaling for late-game players, and ensures that every mechanic has more clearly defined risk and reward opportunities.
