Gothic 1 Remake Developers Improved Save System and Fixed Xardas' Demon - Hotfix 1.0.2 Released

The developers addressed feedback and fixed several issues.

The developers of Gothic 1 Remake have released another small update. "Hotfix 1.0.2" includes fixes for several bugs that could lead to crashes or block progression.

Alkimia Interactive also announced improvements to the save progress system: "save and player profile logic has been improved," and it is now possible to restore save profiles if they exist but are not displayed in the game.

Other improvements and changes in Hotfix 1.0.2 for Gothic 1 Remake:

  • Fixed the ability to interact with Xardas' demon.
  • Fixed a critical error that caused a crash after interacting with a document containing images.
  • Fixed a bug where Lucor's Idol would not die in the Orc cemetery — some players encountered this bug.
  • Fixed a bug with crimes committed using magic. Sometimes the wrong character was assigned as "guilty."
  • Fixed a bug with relationships in the Free Mine.

The developers of Gothic 1 Remake did not announce when they plan to release the next update for the game.
