Recently, gamers were reminded of the Liminal Point project from HideWorks studio. Last year, it garnered attention due to its main character, whose appearance resembled Claire Redfield from the Resident Evil franchise, and now the developers have suddenly been banned from the social network X (formerly Twitter).
According to the published notification, the Liminal Point developers' account "violated X's rules." They were not provided with any details of this "violation" — they do not understand what happened.
Players believe that this blocking may be the result of complaints from activists. The main character is attractive and has cleavage, which could have been a "trigger" for dissatisfaction for some users.
You can add Liminal Point to your Steam wishlist via the following link. HideWorks plans to release the game in 2026, but the exact release date has not yet been specified. They position their project as a psychological survival horror:
The action unfolds on an abandoned, fog-shrouded island, enveloped in darkness and mysteries. You will take on the role of Lyra, a once promising rock star, who returns to uncover the sinister truth about the mysterious disappearance of her bandmate, Myra — and the eerie secrets hidden in this cursed place.
