Todd Howard admitted that TES VI development is taking a long time and mentioned Marvel's Blade
The Elder Scrolls VI was not shown at the June Xbox show. Development continues.
The announcement teaser for The Elder Scrolls VI was shown back in 2018. Fans have already celebrated the “premiere anniversary” several times, but Bethesda Game Studios is in no hurry to share news.
Recently, Todd Howard spoke with Entertainment Weekly and said that this is “the biggest project” Bethesda is currently working on – many specialists are involved in the work:
It’s the one that most of the studio is working on. We understand that we need to get it right, and it’s been a long time.
Work on TES VI continues. Earlier in June, Matt Booty, head of Xbox content, mentioned in an interview that he recently saw The Elder Scrolls VI – and he liked it. He also mentioned then that it is important to find “the right moment” to show the game again.
Todd Howard, during his conversation with Entertainment Weekly, also recalled the new Arkane game. According to the developer, he has already seen the studio's work.
Below is a quote from an interview taken at the end of May:
I can’t say when [we’ll show more], but I saw something just yesterday, and the guys at Arkane [Studios, developers of Marvel’s Blade] are doing a really great job.
Like The Elder Scrolls VI, Marvel’s Blade does not yet have a release date.
