Better on PlayStation: Rockstar Works Closely with Sony on Grand Theft Auto VI

Buyers of the PlayStation 5 version will also receive a free month of GTA+.

Rockstar Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced an expanded collaboration ahead of the release of Grand Theft Auto VI. A joint publication by the companies states that PlayStation 5 will be the “best place” to experience the crime action game.

While the developers have not yet revealed the features of the PS5 Pro version, Rockstar stated that the game will utilize exclusive PlayStation 5 technologies to create a deeper and more immersive experience.

According to information published on the official PlayStation blog, GTA 6 will receive a number of improvements on PS5:

• The DualSense controller will provide enhanced haptic feedback thanks to haptic feedback technology and adaptive triggers. In addition, the controller's built-in speaker will play additional sound effects, enhancing immersion in the gameplay.
• Tempest 3D AudioTech will allow for precise sound positioning in the game world, helping players better navigate their surroundings and distinguish unique soundscapes.
• The PS5's high-speed SSD will provide virtually instant loading times.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19. The game will cost 80 US dollars.
