Paul Cuisset announced the release of DarkStone Restoration in June. This is an updated version of the classic action-RPG, released in 1999. The original author is working on the project.

Players must stop the evil monk:

Long ago, the monk Draak rebelled against Kaliba, the goddess of life and nature, and transformed into a dragon to plunge the world into darkness. The only thing that can stop him is the Orb of Time, forged from Kaliba's tears and shattered into seven crystals scattered across the four lands of Uma. Collect the crystals, restore the Orb, and descend into Draak's lair to end his reign.

DarkStone Restoration includes native support for new 64-bit Windows versions, as well as support for modern displays and resolutions, borderless mode, and frame rate limiting. The developer promises “first-class support” for controllers, as well as a redesigned spell system with a quick access panel, improved inventory, and refined fonts.

The DarkStone Restoration page on Steam is available at the following link. The original version is still available on Valve's service, you can find it here.
