Russian car simulator City Car Driving 2.0 received its first update with gameplay and graphics improvements

The developers fixed some issues and removed the timer when performing exercises.

Recently, the car simulator City Car Driving 2.0 was released on PC in Steam. Forward Development studio reviewed feedback and presented the first update with fixes and improvements.

The developers removed the timer in the “driving range exercises” so that the task could be completed without rush. They clarified that when a full-fledged driving school appears in the game, the timer will return, but will only affect the final rating for the exercise, and not the fact of its completion.

Changes were also made to the mission “Family Business”:

To avoid confusion when searching for the necessary resources, we have made only quest items active during this task. Other items are now blocked from interaction.

Some other improvements and changes:

Wet road effects are now displayed correctly.
Markings are now visible at all quality settings.
Visual fatigue effects have been fixed.
Scale settings will now be saved and applied correctly.
Effect display has been fixed.
Interface error fixed: now you can continue driving after the service station with a button on the keyboard or gamepad, clicking with the mouse is no longer necessary.
