Release Date for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Remake Reviews Announced

Journalists are already playing Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, a remake of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The embargo on reviews will be lifted at 13:00 MSK.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced from Ubisoft Singapore reinterprets the 2013 game. Combat, stealth, missions, and naval battles have been updated. Finishers, parrying, and quick switching between swords and pistols have been added. The pirate ship Jackdaw has new ammunition: heated cannonballs and explosive barrels to damage sails. Missions have become more open-ended and offer different ways to complete them.

Ubisoft has expanded the story: storylines for Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet, plus three new officers in Edward Kenway's crew. The game runs on the Anvil engine: new textures, models, animations, and cutscenes. Edward is once again voiced by Matt Ryan.

Journalists note initial positive impressions. Full reviews will appear after the embargo is lifted on July 8 at 13:00 Moscow time.
