During The Big Summer Warhammer Preview Show 2026 event, Games Workshop employees presented various new products for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game.

A new starter set will be introduced, containing two complete armies for the "Combat Patrol" format — Space Marines and Orks, a basic rulebook, 15 unpainted terrain elements, a double-sided game board, rulers, dice, and a special guide for beginners.

The "Getting Started with Space Marines" and "Getting Started with Orks" sets will offer everything needed: a full "Combat Patrol" army of miniatures, as well as an introductory guide, a starter brush, and 11 paints specifically chosen for the respective faction.

An introductory set for beginners and curious players has also been prepared. It includes 12 miniatures (a Space Marine Lieutenant, 5 Intercessors, an Ork Nob, and 5 Boyz), 6 paints, an introductory book, a pack of foldable cardboard terrain, a game mat, and various information to get started. Three paint sets will be available for purchase: the first two with 6 paints each, intended for Orks or Space Marines, and the third with 13 paints, a starter brush, starter clippers, and a starter mold line remover.

A "Battle Zone" set will appear, containing unpainted scenery elements that assemble without glue, foldable game boards, and terrain zones for the "Combat Patrol" format. Thanks to the "Battlefields: Armageddon" set, it will be possible to create a full battlefield with an Armageddon theme.

Each box contains 28 scenery elements, divided into ruins, galvanic relays, capacitors, and other thematic objects, as well as a set of terrain zones and foldable double-sided game boards. Additionally, a fabric gaming mat will be available for purchase. All the aforementioned terrain sets and starters will be available soon.
