Modder Restores Cut Content from 2005-2011 Builds to Max Payne 3
Some things didn't make it to the release version, but an enthusiast managed to restore them.
In June, a modder known as HarmonyEntertainment presented a project aimed at restoring/recreating content that Rockstar cut from Max Payne 3. The enthusiast collected materials from early builds dating back to 2005-2011.
For example, Max Payne 3 players will be able to hear five unused soundtracks from the beta version, created by Pedro Bromfman. A Hawaiian shirt (2011), the original Remedy and 3D Realms intro, beta loading screens, and logos will also be available.
Some weapon models from multiplayer and DLC will be available in the story campaign, and the underbarrel grenade launcher has been restored, and the RPG is now available. Players will have the opportunity to shoot the Colt Commando from the first Max Payne.

Modder HarmonyEntertainment also stated that he recreated the "yellow" interface and crosshair from the 2009 version; alpha versions of their clothing are available for characters.
The "Beta Recaptured 3" modification by HarmonyEntertainment for Max Payne 3 is available on Nexus Mods. The modder continues to develop his project.
