Palworld Publisher Dispels Popular Stereotype About Competition with Valheim, Windrose, and Rust - Developers Unite for New Promotion

At the end of June, the traditional summer sale started on PC in Steam. Thousands of games received discounts, and a new promotional campaign from the creators of Palworld, who teamed up with other developers of popular survival games, launched on Valve's service.
Manager Jon "Bucky" Buckley, head of communications and publishing at Pocket Pair (creator of Palworld), introduced the "Super Survival Summer!" bundle. He said that in reality, the creators of survival projects do not compete with each other, as many people think, and get along great:
This has been my personal side project since early 2026. Many perceive survival games as competitors and think there's some tension between developers. However, in reality, we get along great because we have something in common — we love survival games.
The "Super Survival Summer!" bundle on Steam, in addition to Palworld, includes nine more survival games:
- Conan Exiles Enhanced
- Rust
- Valheim
- V Rising
- Core Keeper
- Windrose
- ARK: Survival Ascended
- RuneScape: Dragonwilds
- Abiotic Factor
