19:53Riot Games recently published a teaser sketch for League of Legends, titled "200 Years of Experience." The company confirmed the development of a Classic version, which will allow fans to return to the origins of the MOBA game.
The project was named "League of Legends Classic" and, judging by this teaser, players can expect content from the first few seasons:
What is League to you? Is it Season 1? Season 4? Or maybe Season 2, when we started implementing jungle routes? Or the moment when the Heart of Gold appeared?
League of Legends Classic is expected to be fully unveiled on July 11 during the MSI event finals. According to dataminer findings, it will initially offer 60 champions, old runes, an account level cap of 30, its own store, and a battle pass.
Earlier this month, an update for League of Legends was introduced as part of the preparations for the MSI tournament:
Some changes are primarily aimed at pros (sorry, Varus), but most of them will affect players of all skill levels – for example, weakening Lee Sin and Nocturne in the jungle. We will implement changes in a similar vein in another update, and then return to the usual format.
