The creators of the anime "Daemons of the Shadow Realm" presented a new key visual and a full trailer for the second cour. The first half of the season concluded on June 27, but the continuation will be released without the traditional three-month hiatus: the series will return with its 13th episode on July 4th.
The story follows twins Yuru and Asa, who were separated as children. Years later, they try to find each other and gradually uncover the mystery of their origin. The heroes are able to control supernatural pairs of creatures called tsugai, and their fate is inextricably linked with this dangerous power.
Studio Bones is producing the adaptation. Masahiro Ando ("Sword of the Stranger") is directing the project, Noboru Takagi ("Golden Kamuy") wrote the script, Nobuhiro Arai ("Bungo Stray Dogs") designed the characters, and Kenichiro Suehiro ("Fire Force") composed the music.
The anime is based on the manga of the same name by Hiromu Arakawa, author of "Fullmetal Alchemist". The manga has been serialized in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine since December 2021 and continues to receive new chapters regularly.
