The future of "Invincible" is already set for several years to come.

Prime Video has officially renewed the animated series "Invincible" for a sixth season. This will bring the series to the same length as Netflix's "BoJack Horseman" and make it one of the longest-running original animated series on streaming platforms.

The early renewal is further confirmation of the success of the adaptation of the comic books by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. According to Skybound Entertainment, the fourth season was the most successful in the project's history, ranking among the top ten most popular Prime Video series in over 50 countries.

However, the sixth season may not be the last. According to Robert Kirkman, the team already has plans for further development of the story:

"There's still a lot of story ahead, and I can't wait to show viewers what awaits them in seasons five, six, and beyond."
Robert Kirkman

The original comic book series ran for 15 years and consists of 146 issues, so the creators have more than enough material for new seasons.
