007 First Light Developers "Reduced Risk" of Crashes Due to Insufficient Video Memory
IO Interactive continues to gradually address various technical issues.
In late June, IO Interactive studio released update 1.0.6 for 007 First Light. This is a technical update aimed at improving game stability. It does not add new content or features.
The developers stated that they fixed a bug that prevented 007 First Light from launching when "the integrated GPU was incorrectly selected on devices with two video cards (discrete and integrated)."
IO Interactive also fixed a bug that caused custom HDR settings to reset after restarting the game; and made a number of GPU-related improvements to reduce the risk of crashes due to insufficient video memory.
In addition, the creators of 007 First Light fixed a bug that caused crashes in the final mission if the player used a rocket pen on explosive objects.
The full description of update 1.0.6 for 007 First Light is available at the following link.
Game sales have already exceeded 2.7 million copies. IO Interactive studio is currently working on new content, but the release date has not yet been announced.
