Cyberpunk 2077 showed the best online in Steam in the last three years - after the appearance of anime Edgerunners 2 teasers

Players once again have a reason to remember Cyberpunk 2077.

At the end of this month, CD Projekt RED and Trigger animation studio began publishing teasers for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2.

After the publication of promotional materials for the anime, interest in the game Cyberpunk 2077 increased. As a result, this weekend the game's peak online in Steam exceeded 87 thousand players — this is the best result since the end of 2023 (at that time the peak was at the level of 89 thousand users).

Cyberpunk 2077 is participating in the major Steam Summer Sale: the main game received a 70% discount, and the bundle with the Phantom Liberty expansion received a 60% discount.

The release of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is expected at the end of 2026. Another anime teaser should be presented tonight.

A new game in the Cyberpunk franchise is in development, but CD Projekt RED has not yet revealed details of the sequel.

GamesVoice studio continues to raise funds for the Russian voice acting of the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion. The localizers have already managed to attract more than 1.5 million rubles — a little more than three million is required.
