RPG mode with fantasy world and new loot to be added to "anime-GTA" Neverness to Everness

The developers of NTE, often called "anime-style GTA," unveiled update 1.2. Its main novelty will be the 999 Nights mode — an RPG session that transports players from the metropolis of Hetherau to new fantasy locations, inspired by Dungeons & Dragons and classic Japanese RPGs.

999 Nights is not just about new costumes. The mode will add new enemies, a loot and equipment system. For each character, there will be five categories of gear to find as they progress.

The update will also bring two new high-ranking characters — Shinku and Iroy. Fishing enthusiasts will be able to display their catches in their apartments, and a new motorcycle will appear in the game.

 The release of update 1.2 is scheduled for July 8, 2026. The developers note that this is just the beginning of NTE's further development.
