AYN company employees announced that the price increase for their portable consoles will take place on July 3, 2026.
The price of Thor Lite will change from $249 to $259 (from 19,171 to 19,941 rubles), Thor Base from $319 to $329 (from 24,561 to 25,331 rubles), Thor Pro from $399 to $409 (from 30,720 to 31,490 rubles), Thor Max with 512 GB of internal memory from $469 to $479 (from 36,110 to 36,880 rubles), Thor Max with 1 TB of internal memory from $549 to $579 (from 42,270 to 44,580 rubles).
In addition, the cost of all available Odin 3 and Odin 2 Portal models will increase by $10 (by 769 rubles). AYN employees recommend gamers make a purchase before the changes take effect.
While seeing another price increase for such devices is unpleasant, unfortunately, it is inevitable. Amid rumors that the shortage of RAM and internal memory will not end until 2028 (if it ends at all), such price increases are likely to continue in the foreseeable future.
One can only hope that the situation does not reach a critical point where such portable consoles become too expensive and inaccessible.
