"Spider-Man: New Day" was previously considered the main contender for the title of the longest film about the hero. Several major cinema chains' websites showed a runtime of about 2 hours and 30 minutes, but new information from reliable insider Cryptic4KQual refuted these data. According to him, the final runtime of the film will be 2 hours and 24 minutes.
Thus, the new release fell just five minutes short of the absolute record – "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (2 hours 28 minutes) will remain the leader. Nevertheless, the fresh blockbuster will still take second place among the longest Spider-Man films.
For comparison, the runtimes of other solo films in the franchise:
- "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" — 2 hours 22 minutes
- "Spider-Man 3" — 2 hours 19 minutes
- "The Amazing Spider-Man" — 2 hours 16 minutes
- "Spider-Man: Homecoming" — 2 hours 13 minutes
- "Spider-Man: Far From Home" — 2 hours 9 minutes
- "Spider-Man 2" — 2 hours 7 minutes
- "Spider-Man" (2002) — 2 hours 1 minute
The world premiere of "Spider-Man: New Day" is scheduled for July 31, 2026.
