"War of the Worlds: Siberia" became one of the winners of the Internet Development Institute (IRI) competition for the creation of national content. According to sources, the project received a grant ranging from 800 million to 1 billion rubles.

Another recipient of funding was the sequel to the historical game "Zemsky Sobor". The project "Zemsky Sobor: Decisive Choice", developed by the "Sayberia Nova" studio, reportedly received about 250 million rubles, according to interlocutors.

The grant amounts have not been officially confirmed. Representatives of IRI, as well as the developers of both games, declined to comment. Albert Zhiltsov, the producer of "War of the Worlds: Siberia", also did not comment on the information.

It should be noted that in February 2026, Yandex's production center became an investor in "War of the Worlds: Siberia", joining the project's financing.
